I want to linger because of you,
What's the use if you've changed now?
Who cares if you no longer mind?
Perhaps, it was all meant to be unforgettable.
Erase your past, let it burn in flames.
The very essence of pain resides in these words.
His eyes appeared swollen; he must have wept.
Love me, and my soul comes alive.
Moonlight pierces my heart's armor,
I haven't heard voices in a long time.
A life entangled in lies was a misstep,
These disappointments shatter into fragments.
You don't know, but today, I'm slowly fading away.
I keep writing, but what good does it do?
I've committed many sins, which is why I'm aflame,
If I were to say I hate you, it would be a lie.
Pain is dark, merely a smokescreen...
I couldn't escape my past and its lingering effects.
The happy lives I witness are mere facades,
I couldn't confess, "I'm not the same as before."
Mute the sound; it's piercing through my ears.
My own life has officially parted ways.
Back and forth between life and death,
Sometimes, solitude is a means to stay connected.
Love them with untainted dreams.
The weight of the world rests upon their shoulders...
Teaching resilience, practicing patience,
An angel exists, powered by love.
This poem will continue to resonate long after I've departed.
All I can offer the world are these words,
A valuable statement for all to heed:
"I desire to bequeath nothing to the world but love."
